After initial analysis, we agree deadlines with the client and decide which support tools will be required. We assign the appropriate team members to work on the project, choosing translators on the basis of their experience and strengths. Instructions, glossaries, style guides and any other important project resources are also prepared.
To produce consistent translations, use is often made of CAT tools, especially Trados, although translation memories are not used in cases where they have little value, e.g. marketing texts. Translators are required to follow instructions and reference material where necessary. Their work is edited and checked for linguistic accuracy by a second translator (reviser), to ensure consistent terminology and style.
In cases where highly specialised texts needs to be translated, we call in the help of an expert in that particular field, either for a complete review of the translation, or for advice on certain areas. Translated texts may also be submitted to an engineer or desktop publisher for further processing. Internal procedures are carefully followed to guarantee quality throughout.
We are keen to recruit skilled personnel to our freelance team and value their professionalism by appropriate and prompt payment of their services.
Our unique set-up enables us to run our business extremely efficiently, resulting in very competitive rates that include project management, revision by a second translator and full quality control.
You can depend on us to focus on getting the job done, producing reliable and accurate translations. Communication is always open and direct which, in our experience, leads to lasting partnerships and trust. Our clients value this close relationship and rely on us to meet their needs on an on-going basis. We are always willing to adapt to unexpected circumstances, special requirements - and go the extra mile.
